The Who: So am I the who or are you? If we’re talking about me, I’m Dacia. Oh, so that’s not helpful on the net, is it. Is “Day-sha” better?
I love photography. And I love miracles. And I’ve been blessed enough to get to witness a good deal of both in life and in work. See, to me, life is a miracle. To get to see it–truly see it–all over your face as you cradle your newborn baby, as you wait expectantly for your beloved on your wedding day, or as you shine with confidence in preparation for graduation, well, that’s amazing. Call me a big ole’ pile of mush, but I love it. I like to capture all those moments so when they’ve slipped by into the past, you can still pull the memories out to share.
The What: Your most cherished love with the wrinkle in his nose that he only gets when he’s truly amused. The furrowed brow your daughter pulls as she curls up her tongue in concentration becoming oblivious to all but what is right in front of her. Your mother, as she really smiles when she’s laughing. You–full of confidence and attitude as you get ready to face the world on your own.
These are the images I aim to capture. I love the families and events I shoot. I am grateful for the joy I am asked to witness and preserve. I hope you’ll invite me into your life and share your joy. I’m a sucker for a good story, and everyone has a good story to keep in pictures.
The Where: The Valley of the Sun, as we like to call it. But for those not in the know–that means Phoenix, Arizona and the surrounding areas: Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Paradise Valley, Mesa, Glendale, and Peoria. I’ve even been known to make trips to Tucson, Sedona, Flagstaff, California, and Mexico for my clients. I’m an on-location shooter which means I’ll shoot where ever you’d like. And if the answer is you don’t know where that is–let’s chat and we’ll find somewhere that suits you.
The When and How: Well, send me an email at daciarolandophotography@gmail.com or give me a call at 602-214-9646 and we’ll figure it out!
